ABOUT US

Kathy Kerr, MAcOM, L.Ac., opened the doors of Oriental Medicine Associates in 2008 after spending many years working in Georgetown and the surrounding area. Recognizing a growing and under served market – active seniors and maturing “baby boomers” – Kathy structured her practice toward serving this market as well as the needs of Georgetown residents of all ages. Kathy’s clinic grew extensively in just a few short years, and she happily welcomed Julie Carr, L.Ac. to her practice in the Summer of 2012. In 2016, Oriental Medicine Associates became proud Community Care providers for the Veterans Administration.

All of our practitioners are graduates of accredited Schools of Integrative Medicine and have a Masters of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. They are licensed by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners and are Nationally Certified through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. The extensive programs at our graduate schools included over 1,000 hours of supervised clinical internship, 500+ hours of Acupuncture & Techniques courses, 600+ hours of Chinese Herbal courses, and 500+ hours of Biomedical Science.
